Jaipur, an upcoming modern city, is one of the three cities of the historical importance, which comprises Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. It was established in 1727 by Jai Singh II, who named this city after himself. Jaipur is believed to be India’s first planned city in Modern Era and was developed by V.Bhattacharya. Built according to the principles of Vastu Shastra, which divides the city into nine parts – two for state buildings and palaces and seven for public blocks. The city walls and gates ensure its security.

Amber ( Amer)
It is at a distance of about 15 kilometres from Jaipur. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace, located in stony hills, is a beautiful mix of Hindu and Mughal styles. Raja Man Singh I started construction in 1592 and the palace, which was built as a strong and sturdy against attacking enemies, was completed by Raja Jai Singh. Made entirely of red sandstone and white marble, visitors are left mesmerised by the magnificence of the palace that utilises carvings, precious stones.
THE CITY PALACE, JAIPUR
it is a royal palace and former workplace of the rulers of the Jaipur State – Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who shifted his court to Jaipur from Amber, Jaipur City. A beautiful amalgam of Mughal and Rajput architecture, the palace is still home to the last royal family which lives in a special section of the palace. The City Palace Complex includes the Mubarak Mahal (the palace of reception) and the Maharani’s Palace (the palace of the queen). It houses museum – with grand display of Rajput dress, weapon, artefacts and lot more
NAHARGARH FORT
It stands on the outline of the Aravalli Hills, edges of the Jaipur city Along with Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh fort once formed a strong defence line for the city. The fort now known as Nahargarh, which means ‘abode of tigers. This is the must visit fort for tourist although stigmatised as Haunted fort.
JAL MAHAL
Another One of the most wonderful Mahal in Jaipur known as the beautiful Jal Mahal or Lake Palace. The light, sand coloured stone walls and the deep blue of the water make for a wonderful combination. The palace appears to float in the centre of Man Sagar Lake, where its magnificent architecture can be enjoyed by tourists.
